Biography:

John Campbell continues his steady driving performance, which has lodged him at the pinnacle of his profession. His career statistics are astounding: 29 Breeders Crown Championships; over $146 million in purses and more than 7,300 wins; nine victories in Triple Crown events, including 4 Hambletonians. The London, Ontario native has topped the North American money-winning list nine times in the last ten years. Campbell has twice earned Driver of the Year honours (1983 and 1988). Great horses he has driven include David’s Pass, Nick’s Fantasy, Tagliabue, Mack Lobell, Pine Chip and Peace Corps. John Campbell was the youngest person to be enshrined in the Living Hall of Fame, two months younger than Herve Filion was at his induction in 1975.
