PET Scan Results

The PET Scan, which was taken on Thursday, unfortunately revealed light up on the inside of Naismith’s front left condyle. While x-ray results were clean, the scan is indicating the issue is beginning from the inside out. This will not require any surgery but will require time off to heal. Ultimately the key for the healing process is removing the pressure of training to allow the bone to fully heal.

Naismith will be sent to Peacefield Farm in Temecula where he will receive approximately 90 days off before being re-evaluated.

During his time at Peacefield Farm Naismith will be on paddock rest with daily vibration therapy.
